Reasonable reasons

Najib could not attend UN GA as he has to have sufficient time to get a full grasp of the domestic economy, he said. PakLah on jobs swaps announcement earlier told the reporters that the timing for Najib to assume the Finance Minister post is appropriate as he would be leaving for UN and that would give him the opportunity to meet the investors. (BTW Anwar is now in Hong Kong meeting the investors). And now the reason is quite clear to all.

Somewhere else, Berlusconi is reported to skip UN also but for a different reason. He needs not worry about local economy!
